I am the very proud and passionate tumuaki of Titahi Bay School. We are so lucky to live in our own little paradise and I know our tamariki and community are so grateful for that.
Our kura is a place of learning and joy with kaiako that are incredibly talented, passionate, knowledgeable and empathetic. The school vision, Pai Rākau Pai Hua emphasises our full and rich curriculum and our KURA values are seen, heard and felt throughout our entire school:

We love seeing our whānau connect with us and be actively involved in their child’s amazing KURA journey. We strongly believe that a genuine partnership between home and school benefits everyone and is essential for helping our ākonga thrive.

Titahi Bay School is a friendly and inclusive Year 1–6 kura located on Kura Street in Titahi Bay, Porirua, close to the moana and surrounded by the natural beauty of our community. Situated on the whenua of Ngāti Toa Rangatira, we value strong connections to place, people and culture.
At Titahi Bay School, learning is enriched by strong use of our local environment, community connections and authentic experiences beyond the classroom. Tamariki are encouraged to explore, create and think critically through a balanced curriculum that includes sport, the arts and outdoor learning alongside literacy and numeracy. We value student voice and provide opportunities for children to take on leadership roles, work collaboratively, and develop independence as they progress through the school.
